REPUBLIC OF BOBOTOH – Rumors of player transfers are heating up after the end of the 2022-2023 League 1 season, some have even been proven true.

Persib Bandung is one of the most intense teams rumored to have approached a number of targeted players or those offered by agents.

In fact, Persib has reportedly made an agreement with a number of local players to defend Maung Bandung in the 2023-2024 League 1 competition.

Rumors are circulating that Persib has made an agreement with three local players, namely Edo Febriansah (RANS Nusantara FC), Putu Gede Juni Antara (Bhayangkara FC) and Septian David Maulana (PSIS Semarang).

When confirmed, the Director of PT Persib Bandung Dignified (PBB), Teddy Tjahjono firmly stated that the news was a hoax.

“Hoax,” said Teddy when contacted by reporters via text message on Wednesday, April 18, 2023.

Even though he said the news was a hoax, Teddy implied that Persib had started looking for players, but no one had made a deal yet.

“Yeah, there’s no deal yet, it’s hard to find local players,” said Teddy.

Even so, reflecting on previous experience, the fact is that hoaxes don’t always lie, like when Persib brought in Ricky Kambuaya, who at that time was still just a rumor, was often denied by Teddy.**
