‘Te Kloese spoke with agent Reynolds’

Despite the contract extension of Lutsharel Geertruida, Feyenoord is emphatically taking into account a possible departure of the defender next summer. He is followed by various scouts from abroad and a top transfer is therefore not excluded.

General manager Dennis te Kloese is looking into possible successors. Before the match between Feyenoord and AS Roma in the quarter-final of the Europa League, Te Kloese spoke with Bryan Reynolds’ agent Chris Megaloudis and Tiago Pinto, the general manager of AS Roma, about a possible switch to Feyenoord.

The 21-year-old American footballer Reynolds is under contract with AS Roma until mid-2025, but currently plays on a rental basis for KVC Westerlo. In Belgium, the right back has scored one goal and five assists in 26 league games. AS Roma took over the right leg from Dallas in 2021 for 6.75 million euros. He also played on a rental basis for KV Kortijk.

Sports Courier reports that Feyenoord is currently exploring options, but that there are no concrete plans for a transfer yet. Reynolds is also in the interest of Galatasaray SK. However, KVC Westerlo has the first option for a transfer. The Belgians have stipulated a purchase option of seven million euros in the lease.
