Tarbes. Victor Perez in the honor of the hippodrome golf course

The hippodrome golf course puts Victor Perez in the spotlight. The face of the French number 1 in golf, who hit his first balls on the 9 holes of Laloubère, now sits on the walls of the club’s reception office. The fresco, produced by Enzo, the young artist from Tarb, depicts Victor on the whole wall in three attitudes: swinging, after the success of a put and celebrating the success of a hole or the victory of a tournament.

A great way to pay tribute to Victor where it all began. What a long way since his first swings with his father Michel.

His ascent continues after the Alps Tour and the Challenge Tour. On the European Tour (now DP World Tour), Victor Perez has a very promising track record. He won three tournaments: the Alfred Dunhill Championship in Scotland where it all started, the Dutch Open in 2022 and especially the HSBC 2023 in Abu Dhabi. This is the first time that a French golfer has won a Rolex Series tournament. Victor Perez also shone in the continental team in the Hero Cup against a British selection. Bodes well for a European Ryder Cup squad selection. Inspiring for youngsters in golf.
