Spalletti to the fans: ‘If Napoli win, use common sense’ – Football

“If we manage to win, we must also know how to win in behaviour, in having fun after the match. We must know that this sport belongs to children, and tomorrow everyone, including me, will have children around the city. If someone does something that at risk the participation of others in this party and above all of the children, does something that absolutely cannot be done”.

This is Luciano Spalletti’s appeal in view of the Sunday that can crown Napoli champions. “We must use common sense and understand what we can risk. It is a game for children, they must celebrate if what we all hope will happen”.

”We know that tomorrow will be a very difficult match and it would have been beyond the move. We must be ready to climb these rocky mountains. It’s a part of every game. We know that for us and for them it’s a derby but there are other things at stake that would have made it so complicated, regardless of the particular circumstances that exist. Naples and Salerno are two cities that have a healthy morality for this sport”. Luciano Spalletti is aware of the difficulties that tomorrow’s derby from Campania will have for his team, which smells of the Scudetto.

”My players are tired of meetings. Our video room is beautiful, with comfortable armchairs, but they too want to tell their children and grandchildren something. If they are good this can be the story they will be proud to tell. They are perfect and humble guys, available to listen, the guys can also say something personal. A true friendship was born between the boys, I’m happy about it”. Luciano Spalletti talks about the atmosphere within the team in view of winning the Scudetto. ”They reminded me – concludes the coach – that I have never won in Italy. If what was not done elsewhere was worth living this with Napoli, I’m happy it was like this”.
