Jon Rahm is the new owner of the Green Jacket. He has joined his name to those of Severiano Ballesteros, José María Olazábal, and Sergio García on the list of Spanish golfers who have won the Augustan Masters. The day after his victory, a video from two years ago when Rahm did not hesitate to spend two hours signing autographs for the children who went to see him at the Spanish Open has been circulated on social networks again.

Shortly after, he repeated that gesture at the Estrella Damm NA Andalucía Masters. And so he explained it in his own words: “I understand the impact that I can have on any kid. Now I am going to sign and I understand that this signature, like the ones I had in 2008, motivates. It may be that the next benchmark for Spanish golf is there.”
