However, then Santa Fe went through a difficult time, as Julián Millán was injured and David Ramírez Pisciotti was the one who came on to replace him in order to make his international debut for the first time.

After that, the game became more physical and the actions in the goals began to be scarce. However, the Bogotá team managed to keep their goal at zero and they went that way in the first half.

For the complement, both teams increased their intensity again, but Santa Fe looked much better for a few moments, where Hugo Rodallega, Johan Torres and Neyder Moreno, who cheered up on some occasions.

In the same way, Goiás had his approaches, but the young goalkeeper Juan Espitia was standing well, who despite his little experience, kept his goal well defended.

As the minutes passed, Santa Fe began to commit fouls, forgetting the ball a little and the referee had to resort to the yellow card on several occasions, with José Enamorado and Wilfrido de la Rosa being the ones left with conditions. In addition, they joined those who had been booked in the first half, such as Harold Rivera and Dairon Mosquera.

Despite this, in the final minutes Santa Fe had one last action with Wilson Morelo, who shot hard from medium distance, but the ball went wide and the experienced striker narrowly scored the winning goal for the cardinal.

In the end, Santa Fe kept the zero in their goal and took a point in their visit to Goiania, a result that leaves them with the possibility of continuing to fight for that first place in group G of the Copa Sudamericana.
