Salaries, damages, bonuses… Corinne Deacon has finally found a financial agreement with the FFF

Since last month, Hervé Renard has been the new coach of the French women’s team. Dismissed on March 9 while preparing for the World Cup (July 20 – August 20, in Australia and New Zealand), former coach Corinne Deacon has finally found a financial agreement with the French football federation (FFF ) to terminate his contract which ran until August 10, 2014. According to the newspaper The Teamshe should receive compensation of 870,000 euros.

The FFF will pay him his wages – she receives 350,000 euros gross per year – until the end of his CDD (fixed-term contract), but also give him an additional year for the damage suffered. Corinne Deacon was indeed brutally dismissed after the coup by several executives (Wendie Renard, Marie-Antoinette Katoto and Kadidiatou Diani) who had announced their boycotts of Les Bleues as long as she remained in office.

In addition to these amounts, the FFF will grant the one who had arrived at the head of the Bleues since 2017 a small extension because it was provided for in her contract a bonus (100,000 euros) in the event of a world title this summer, and another 100 000 euros in the event of an Olympic gold medal for the Bleues, in August 2024. In the end, the former coach of Clermont will therefore receive an amount of 870,000 euros.
