National Hockey League (NHL) Buffalo Sabers general manager Kevin Adams has expressed his desire to keep Kyle Okposo and Zemgus Girgenson in the club.

The representative of “Sabres” announced this at the final press conference of the season. “I would say that Zemgus is a ‘quiet’ leader who cares about his teammates and is taken care of by his teammates. He is identical every game, no ups and downs. After the end of the season, we agreed that he will rest a little and we will continue our talks. The deal should be beneficial for both parties,” Adams stressed.

It has already been announced that Girgenson will become a free agent in the summer when his three-year contract for $6.6 million expires. Last season, the Latvian collected 18 (10+8) performance points in 80 games. The Latvian has already played ten seasons in Buffalo.
