Hikers have an appointment for a weekend, from May 6 to 8, 2023, to (re)discover the treasures of the Aubagnais territory.
New itineraries, thematic circuits, walks of varying distances and difficulties... On the program of the Festi Rando du pays d’Aubagne et de l’Etoile: 3 days of festivities to share with family or friends, 38 routes to explore, more than 260 km to cover, from just €4 per hike.

Moonlight trail on Mont Julien, Friday May 5 at 9 p.m. Night hike – Saint-Savournin
From Saint-Savournin, we set off on Mont Julien to discover at night, a panorama of the surrounding landscapes, Marseille and the Mediterranean Sea. About 2h – 6.3 km – Elevation of 278 m – Medium – Intermediate public – Price: 4€
La Safranière “Terre de Safran” hike, Saturday May 6 at 9:00 a.m.
Céline Céccaldi, producer of saffron, invites the most curious to discover its saffron field during the growing season, and all the history around this product, from its cultivation to its virtues, uses, etc. Tasting on site. ½ day – 4 km – Elevation of 160 m – Medium – Public beginner to intermediate – Price: 4€
Discovery hike of the plants of the garrigue and evening at the Château des Creissauds, Saturday May 6 at 5.30 p.m.
During a short hike, we discover the plants of the Provençal scrubland, which are used to produce premium spirits from Maison Ferroni. On the way back, go to the La Prairie bar for a tour of the estate, followed by a tasting of Pastis and a cocktail, then an aperitif. After discovering the village of Auriol, we gain height to reach the Sainte-Croix chapel which offers a unique view of the surrounding landscapes. Quiz & Trails evening, Sunday May 7 at 6:30 p.m.
From the farm of Roussargue, we leave with family or friends to reach the crests of Bassan. Along the way, we participate in various games, around the local natural and cultural riches, and we compete on fauna and flora quizzes without forgetting the general culture. At the end of the course, we sit down to watch a sunset, and we encourage the two best players who face each other in the final. ATBefore leaving, we enjoy a friendly aperitif and picnic.
