Rennes without Mandanda, Caqueret and Lepenant back in OL’s eleven

Deprived of Dejan Lovren, Laurent Blanc decided to line up a 4-4-2 diamond for the reception of Rennes this Sunday, rather than a defense with three axial, as he used to do in recent matches. Unlike the semi-final of the Coupe de France lost at La Beaujoire in the middle of the week (1-0), Thiago Mendes gives up his place. Maxence Caqueret and Johann Lepenant will bring more density to the midfield.

However announced as holder, Steve Mandanda will not keep the Rennes goals at 1 p.m. Last minute package, no reason has been revealed to justify his absence. The young Dogan Alemdar (20) replaces him.

Without Karl Toko Ekambi, under a contractual agreement in his loan preventing him from playing against Lyon, Bruno Genesio decided to compose a 4-3-3 with a central hinge Wooh-Theate and a midfield enriched by Lovro Majer and Baptist Santamaria. The former Lyonnais Amine Gouiri holds on the left front of the Breton attack.
