Perrine Delacour in the top 10 at the Dio Implant LA Open

A 9th place which leaves high hopes for the weekend but which could have been even more beautiful. Perrine Delacour can almost harbor small regrets after her second round at the Dio Implant LA Open. Her final score (-5) also leaves her at a respectable distance from the two leaders (-10). Part of the 10, in verve immediately (3 birdies on the first 7 holes), the Frenchwoman got a little stuck on the return. Pauline Roussin-Bouchard, another Tricolor of the tournament and recent winner of the Aramco Team Series in Singapore, narrowly made the cut (51st, +1). It was indeed set at +2.

In the lead, Hyo Joo Kim (10th in the world) had a great time (5 birdies, no bogey): “My little game was really well tuned. I had several situations where the bogey threat was real but my putting saved me several times”. At his side, Ruoning Yin, less famous (146th), savored his second day: “I hit 13 of 18 fairways, took 13 greens in regulation and only hit 24 putts, which is incredible for me. I really think the course, excellent, makes us all better”. The Japanese Nasa Hataoka, defending champion, could almost say the same. She is in the wake of the leaders (-9), ready to adjust them this weekend.
