As you will have understood, the coach of Friborg Olympic did not appreciate the defensive performance of his players against Nyon.

During this game played in front of just over 900 spectators, the reigning Swiss champions quickly took a 20-point lead: 43 to 23 at the end of the first half. But the Vaudois did not give up, so much the better for the interest of this game. Jérémy Jaunin’s teammates even came back to within 8 points of the Fribourgeois in the second half but the Fribourgeois never trembled thanks in particular to their 14 baskets scored at 3 points!
Well coached by Stefan Ivanovic (only 36 years old), the Vaudois were able to rely on an excellent attitude and on 2 offensive leaders: Devante Brooks (25 points) and Colin Dougherty (35 points).

However, the last 4 matches on the Friborg program before the start of the playoffs will be of interest because Boris Mbala’s teammates will face in order: Monthey, Geneva, Vevey and finally Massagno. The next game is scheduled for Saturday at Le Reposieux.
Note that Geneva will be deprived of Bryan Colon until the end of the season: the playmaker, 3rd best scorer in the championship, seriously injured his knee on Tuesday against Vevey.
