North American businessman Peter Grieve, one of those interested in taking over Atlético’s Sociedade Anônima do Futebol (SAF), promised this week to present guarantees that he got the money to acquire SAF alvinegra.

It was what was missing for the agreement between Grieve and the 4Rs to exist, in addition to the club’s president, Sérgio Coelho.

If this part is fulfilled, the next step will be to convene the Deliberative Council and then the partners, for the approval of the SAF.

Afterwards, it will be the turn to vote on the sale of SAF do Galo to the entrepreneur.

The last few days have been tense. Peter Grieve found it difficult to find investors to join the project. Afterwards, he presented a proposal considered “indecorous” by alvinegros patrons.

President of The Football Co., Grieve then made another, better offer to Atlético, which was accepted by the 4Rs, and the process is underway.
