Of course, this headline sounds exciting and spectacular: “The basketball league NBA legalizes marijuana!” This is not true, however, and so the excitement about it focuses on the wrong point. That in turn is a pity, because some exciting decisions have actually been made that could well be groundbreaking – not just for the NBA or US sports, but possibly for many sectors in the professional sports environment.
