Judo is a popular, dynamic competitive sport and the basis of many self-defense techniques. It promotes mind and body equally and is suitable for girls and boys. The courses are led by experienced judokas, all of whom have completed training as a trainer.
For children aged 5 to 7, the course always takes place on Thursdays from 5:00 p.m. to 5:50 p.m. For children from 7 to 15 years, the beginners’ course is now held every Tuesday from 5:15 p.m. to 6:25 p.m. The judo training takes place in the judo room of the Rosenau gymnasium in Gossau (same building as the indoor swimming pool in Gossau). The cost of the first 10 training sessions is CHF 50 and must be paid on the first evening of training. Registration is required. Gym shorts and a T-shirt are sufficient for the first training session. It is trained barefoot.
