Where does this magical union with your bike come from?
“This morning when I woke up I felt strange, I didn’t know what to expect, I was very strong in the dry so I was desperate when I saw that it would be a race in the wet. But when the race started it was beautiful, I really enjoyed the first three laps, I saw that I was going fast and to give myself some comfort I talked to my bike, it went well”
Did they invite you to adjust? Or did you think of it yourself?
“The team invited me to ride gently, I pushed the whole race, this helped me stay focused, I managed the tire in the last 8-9 laps”
You come home as leader of the World Championship, how do you feel?
“I didn’t know, they told me now before the interview. I can’t believe it, it’s a very cool ranking, it’s a dream come true, even if there are still thirty thousand races to go. This result is beautiful, I can’t describe the emotions I have inside
