‘Messi’s contribution to PSG is disappointing’

Lionel Messi judged to appear disappointing in Paris Saint Germain. La Pulga’s contribution to the team from the French capital is still not as expected.

Former PSG player, Jerome Rothen, who expressed his disappointment at Messi. In fact, Messi’s performance this season has improved compared to the previous year.

In the French League, Messi has recorded 13 goals and 13 assists. Overall this season, the Argentine player has scored 18 goals and 17 assists in all competitions.

“I gave sharp criticism because it was the height of my disappointment,” Rothen said on RMC Sport,

“Leo Messi representing football, everything I love about football. He has written football history, he is probably the greatest of all generations. However, we are very disappointed with his contribution during his two seasons at PSG,” he added.

Lionel Messi’s future is currently being speculated. His contract with PSG will expire in June 2023.

Several clubs are reportedly interested in Messi, there are Inter Miami, Barcelona and Al Hilal. Messi has denied the rumors about leaving PSG.

Overall, Messi has played 67 matches with PSG. He recorded 29 goals and 32 assists, has also won the French League title and the French Super Cup.
