The dispute between Alexander Zverev and Daniil Medvedev goes into the next round. The Russian countered the German and drew a comparison with FC Bayern.

You both can’t help it. Alexander Zverev only shot after his defeat against Daniil Medvedev. Now the Russian countered and said at the press conference after his quarter-final defeat: “Sascha lives in his own world and if he loses, you will find 25 interviews in which he says strange things. If he says someone is playing unfairly, he should take a look at himself in the mirror.”

But Medvedev also noted that Zverev made his statements against him right after the match and that this was an emotional situation. Then Medvedev drew a comparison to Bayern and the recent Zoff between Leroy Sané and Sadio Mané.
The Russian tennis player: «I can understand it somewhat. Lots of things can happen right after the game. Just like with Sané and Mané, who just had an argument. It was right after the game, in the heat of the moment.”
Afterwards, Medvedev added: “It doesn’t disappoint me in the least, but if he’s still talking like that in a week, then I’ll come to him in the dressing room and say: ‘Let’s talk about what’s going on.'”
The Russian Daniil Medvedev lost to the Dane Holger Rune the next day.

After his knockout round against Medvedev, Zverev described him as “one of the most unfair players in the world”. “I take fairness and sportsmanship very, very seriously. Unfortunately, he has none of that, »said Zverev.
