This Saturday and Sunday took place at the Vigan sports complex near Gourdon, the championship regional veterans of Occitania. This competition, co-organized by the Badminton Bouriane Club, the Comité 46 Badminton and the Ligue Occitanie, attracted nearly 115 players from all the departments of the region. Many people from Lot took part in this championship, including 5 badminton players from Pradines. They all left with a medal around their necks. Baptiste Dajean became champion regional in men’s doubles category V2 (40/45 years), associated for the occasion with François Pham of 66. Unfortunately the planned partner: Jonathan Vivenot of Pradines was injured on Wednesday during an interclub meeting. We him wish a good recovery. Silver for the girls: Sabine Cousi and Fanny Vogelweith made it to the final and thus won the silver medal in Double Dame V1 (35/40 years old). As for Bernard Maurel and Éric Molina, they won bronze in Men’s Doubles V6 (60-65 years old). Bernard doubled the bet in men’s singles V6 by advancing to the semi-finals.
