Madrid sealed their ticket to the semifinals

Real Madrid reached the Champions League semifinals this Tuesday by beating Chelsea 2-0, with a brace from Rodrygo, in the quarterfinal round of the continental tournament at Stamford Bridge.

The Brazilian’s goals (58, 80) gave the pass to the white team, which had also won 2-0 in the first leg in Madrid and will face the winner of the clash between Manchester City in the next round for a place in the final and Bayern Munich.

Chelsea couldn’t complete the epic game they needed to overcome the tie against Real Madrid, current champions, who withstood the attacks of a very offensive English team, but who lacked punch.

The ‘Blues’ needed goals and they came out for that purpose, pressing the white team up, who suffered in the first minutes.

N’Golo Kanté warned with a shot that went wide when hunting for a loose ball in the area after a tackle from the right where Eduardo Camavinga suffered in his role as winger.

Chelsea hammered again and again for that band where Reece James and Kanté appeared to put balls into Courtois’ area, but without success.

The merengue team eliminated Chelsea for the second consecutive year in the fight for the orejona.
