With this record, the regional long-distance runner surpassed her own mark in Venezuela, of 15:30:50 established in 2020, and that of the Brazilian Simone Alves da Silva with 15:18:85 at the South American level, achieved in May 2011.

In this way, the world champion in Duathlon accumulates a new record to her extensive record, focused on arriving in excellent condition at the Olympic Games Paris 2024.

It should be noted that the 28-year-old was unable to represent the national tricolor in Tokyo 2020 after contracting COVID-19 when she would play her last qualifying test.
