Italian Paralympic Committee – Badminton: successes for Suma and Ferrigno on the third day of the Brazil ParaBadminton International

Good news for the blue colors from the São Paulo competition grounds, where the Brazil ParaBadminton International is taking place. On the third day, successes for Yuri Ferrigno and Piero Rosario Suma.

Ferrigno achieved success again in the mixed doubles together with the Peruvian Pilar Jauregui, overcoming the Brazilian Romulo Henrique Sousa De Morais and the Peruvian Silva Silva Arizapana with a double 21-9 and again in the men’s singles where he defeated the Brazilian Arthur Terencio Dias (21 -15; 21-13). The blue has thus ensured the passage of the round in all three disciplines.

First victory in Brazil also for Piero Rosario Suma, who despite not being able to pass the round, defeated the Brazilian Derik Luis Burbella in two sets (21-5; 21-10).

Today’s day will instead be decisive for Rosa De Marco who will go in search of the next round in the women’s singles.
