“It seemed like batting practice,” says AMLO about the Gigantes game in CDMX

President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador reported that in his private activities he was able to see part of the game of San Francisco Giants against the San Diego Padres in Mexico City.

“It looked like batting practice or a Home Run Derby”, said the President in reference to the series of home runs that both teams scored.

“Eleven clubs. Here the ball flies a lot, but today’s pitchers are stone throwers, they use little ribbon. It was a great show anyway,” he said.

As part of the regular season of the Major League Baseball (MLB)a game was held in Mexico City that took the ninth of the San Diego Padres 16 to 11 over the San Francisco Giants at the Alfredo Harp Helú Stadium, the home of the Diablos Rojos del México.
