It’s getting hot! Alba Berlin will play Ulm in the penultimate game of the main round on Sunday (3 p.m., MB Arena), the playoffs will start next month. But the squad planning for the coming season is already underway.
A top performer could leave Alba Berlin in the summer, his contract is expiring: Louis Olinde (25) is playing better than ever this year and has just made a leap on the offensive.
The winger (at Alba since 2020): “Of course, your own future after the end of the season is always in the back of your mind.” He emphasizes: “I feel very comfortable in Berlin. But maybe you want to take another step forward in sport.”
The 27-time German national player does not only think of top European clubs. He dreams of the USA and the best league in the world: the NBA!
Olinde: “That is my big goal. Whether in two, three years or already next season – who knows?”
For now, however, his focus is on defending his title again with Alba: “For me personally, it has been a very successful year so far.”
He emphasizes: “To refine that with the German championship would of course be ideal.”
