SD Compostela’s training sessions this week were attended by a luxury spectator, the historic footballer and coach Eusebio Sacristán. The man from Valladolid was a teammate of Juan Carlos Andrés at Real Sociedad and at Girona, the man from Vigo being his second coach, and this week he has come to the Galician capital to see the team’s training sessions. He will also be in San Lázaro on Sunday, watching the debut of Juan Carlos at the Verónica Boquete. This was stated by the Compos coach this Friday at the end of the training session: “He was there yesterday and today, he will also be there tomorrow and in Sunday’s game. At some point he has come to be close, to encourage us and help” said Juan Carlos, before praising the man from La Seca. “Probably, on a tactical level, he is one of the best coaches in the world, based on what I think. He likes to transmit, and because of the relationship that unites us, he is welcome. Everything he says is heard.”
