‘I’ll see you again, Green Bay’: Aaron Rodgers provides career update

After 18 seasons in Green Bay, Aaron Rodgers turned the page on the longest chapter of his career by thanking the entire Packers organization.

In a post on the Instagram social network, the 39-year-old man, who will play next season with the New York Jets, illustrated his time in Wisconsin in 10 photos. You can see him in the 2005 draft, in the community or in the company of former teammates.

“I don’t know if it’s possible to fully express all the gratitude I have for the Packers, our amazing fans, the State of Wisconsin, the thousands of players I’ve crossed paths with, the men and the exceptional women who work for this organization and the awesome people I have had the opportunity to meet along this journey in just one post of 10 photos, but I hope you will read this and feel my heart and soul filled love, joy and peace about my time in green and gold,” Rodgers commented on Tuesday.

“To the supporters, THANK YOU. You made every tunnel exit special, every home game magical and it was an honor to be your quarterback.”

“To my teammates, I love you all, and I’m grateful for the moments on and off the pitch that brought us together. I played with legends, I played with friends. Thank you for believing in me and always having my back covered,” he said, adding the names of head coaches Mike McCarthy and Matt LaFleur in passing.

“It’s not the end for us; I’ll see you again, Green Bay. You will always have my heart,” concluded the four-time NFL Most Valuable Player award winner.

Rodgers won the Super Bowl in 2011 and made 11 playoff runs. He was also invited to the Pro Bowl game 10 times.
