Heat hero Butler knocks Bucks out of playoffs; ‘Knicks’ also reach the next round

The Miami Heat and New York Knicks reached the second round of the NBA playoffs on Wednesday, while the Golden State Warriors took the lead in their first-round series and the Memphis Grizzlies avoided the season finale.

“Heat” basketball players beat Milwaukee “Bucks” in overtime with the result 128:126, winning 4-1 in the series to four victories.

For most of the game, the two teams played quite similarly, but in the third quarter, “Bucks” achieved a 16-point advantage (102:86). The Heat battled back, and at the end of regulation, Heat star Jimmy Butler sent the game into overtime in incredible fashion. With 2.1 seconds left in regulation, Butler made a difficult jumper to tie the game at 118-118 and send the game into overtime.

“Heat” worked more successfully in it, took the lead with 126:119, and was able to keep the lead until the end.

For the Heat, Butler scored 42 points, Gabe Vincent scored 22 points, and Bem Adebayo had 20 points and 10 rebounds. A fantastic game by Yannis Adetokunbo is not enough for the “Bucks” team – he stood out with 38 points and 20 rebounds. Chris Middleton also scored 33 points.

On the other hand, the New York “Knicks” won their first victory in the NBA playoff series since 2013. The Knicks defeated the Cleveland Cavaliers 106-95 on the road and had a 4-1 lead in the series.

Jalen Branson scored 23 points for New York, and Arjay Berrett added 21 points. Donovan Mitchell scored 28 points for the Cavaliers, while Darius Garland scored 21 points.

The Memphis “Grizzlies” beat the Los Angeles “Lakers” at home with a score of 116:99, making the series 2-3.

Desmond Bain led his team in victory with 33 points and 10 rebounds, while Ja Morant had 31 points, 10 rebounds and 7 assists. Anthony Davis had 31 points and 19 rebounds for the Lakers, while Austin Reeves was second on the team with 17 points. LeBron James excelled with 15 points and 10 rebounds.

On the other hand, the Golden State “Warriors” beat the Sacramento “Kings” 123:116 on the road, achieving their third victory in a row and taking a 3-2 lead in the series.

Stephen Curry had 31 points and eight rebounds, Klay Thompson added 25 points and Andrew Wiggins had 20 points. De’Aaron Fox scored 24 points and nine assists for the Kings, Malik Monks scored 21 points off the bench, and Domants Sabonis scored 21 points and grabbed 10 rebounds.
