World No. 8 player Will Zalatoris had to withdraw from the Masters Tournament due to injury, reported Bob Weeks of TSN.

Zalatoris is the second player to withdraw from the tournament on Thursday, following LIV golf member Kevin Na earlier in the morning.

Na was the first player on the court Thursday, along with Canadian Mike Weir. He played the first nine holes, before giving up. Na had committed four bogeys and a double bogey, in addition to making two birdies and he returned a score of 40 (+4).

Weir is therefore still on the field and he will finish the first round alone, since there was no third player in his group.

For the second round, Weir could be matched with a member of Augusta to accompany him.
