Golf: Leonardo Ledesma won the North Patagonian Open

With an unbeatable day from the climatic point of view, it closed this afternoon the 42nd edition of the North Patagonian Openthe traditional contest that takes place at the Palihue Golf Club and is part of the Argentine Circuit.

After a week of hard work, Leonardo Ledesma became champion in our city and noted his name among the tournament winners.

Today’s was also his first title as a professional at the age of 28.

The man from Tucuman led the Open from day one and always remained at the top, rounding off a great performance.

Today Ledesma closed the competition with a card of 69 strokes (3 under par) and thus totaling 267 strokes (-13) after completing the 72 holes.

Ledesma receives the cup from Hugo Borelli, president of the Palihue Golf Club.

Their numbers throughout the contest were as follows: 67 hits on Thursday, 68 on friday y 65 on Saturday.

“I am very happy to have achieved my first victory here in the Norpatagonico, it was a great week, I think I played very well but above all I played the putter very well and that was fundamental”, the man from Tucuman told the tournament’s official press.

Ledesma received the champion’s sack by Nicolás Arroyo, undersecretary of sports of the Municipality.

Behind Ledesma were Oreste Focaccia and Féliz Córdoba, both with a total of 271 hits.

On the other hand, the winner for the fans was Joaquín Ludueña, who finished the 72 holes with 275 shots.

The man from Santa Fe, number 1 in the fan ranking, finished sixth in the general table after signing the following cards over the four days: 70, 68, 66 and 71.
