Girgenson and the ‘Sabres’ do not enter the Stanley Cup this year either

The Sabers lost to the New York Rangers 2-6 on the road in the regular season game on Tuesday, thereby losing their theoretical chance to continue the season in the playoffs. Therefore, Girgenson will not be able to enjoy the playoffs in his ninth NHL season either.
