Garbiñe Muguruza will also miss the clay and grass season

MADRID, 3 Abr. (EUROPA PRESS) –

The Spanish-Venezuelan tennis player Garbiñe Muguruza confirmed this Monday that she is going to “extend” the break she faced last February and that she will also miss the entire clay and grass season after the positive effects she has experienced having “time with family and friends.”

“Hey guys what’s up. Spending time with family and friends has been really healthy and amazing so I’m going to extend this period until the summer. I’ll miss clay and grass season. Thanks for all the messages lovely and I’ll keep you up to date,” said Muguruza on his official Instagram profile.

The former world number one, double winner of ‘Grand Slam’, has not played since her defeat in the first round of the tournament in Lyon (France) last February and has not won a match since September 2022 in Tokyo, which has caused it to have left the ‘Top 100’ of the WTA ranking, where this Monday it appeared in position 132.
