tvOnenews.com – Indonesian sprinter Lalu Muhammad Zohri is one of the athletes participating in the 2023 SEA Games Cambodia.
During the preparation for the 2023 SEA Games in the month of Ramadan, Zohri failed to celebrate Idul Fitri with his family in North Lombok. However, he is used to being away from his family in order to carry the name of Indonesia.
“Indeed, if Eid is not at home it is normal. Many of our friends (athletes) here are also far from their hometowns. It is not a problem because we are used to it,” said Zohri in Jakarta, Saturday (15/4/2023).
As a substitute, Zohri filled the warmth on Victory Day by gathering with his fellow athletes at the national athletic training center (pelatnas).
This year, they plan to celebrate Eid at the house of the special athletic trainer for short distance running, Eni Nuraeni, who also trains four other athletes, namely Sudirman Hadi, Bayu Kertanegara, Wahyu Setiawan, and Adith Rico.
“We were invited by Mrs. Eni to gather and have dinner there,” said Zohri.
