Misolic won against Andrea Pellegrino 6-1, 4-6 and 6-4 on Friday afternoon and now meets Dalibor Svrcina.
Misolic is number one seed at the tournament in Italy.
Compatriot Sebastian Ofner is still in action in Oeiras, Portugal: His quarter-final against Andrea Vavassori was interrupted when the score was 5:7. Ofner is seeded in third place here.
