Ex-President Bans PSG from Signing Jose Mourinho

Paris Saint Germain associated with Jose Mourinho. The former president of Les Parisiens, Charles Villeneuve, has been wary of plans to bring in The Special One.

Christophe Galtier’s future at PSG is being speculated. His failure to bring PSG to win the Champions League was the main reason.

Mourinho’s name then floats as a candidate for the new PSG coach. The Portuguese tactician has experience managing many big clubs, from Chelsea, Manchester United, Inter Milan to Real Madrid.


With the current squad owned by PSG, Mourinho believed to make PSG great news material by Villeneuve. The reason is, the team from the French capital is currently in a lot of drama.

“If you want a hysterical coach, then there’s no problem signing Mourinho considering the current chaos,” Villeneuve said as reported by PSGTalk.

“There are orders to be placed here and there, it could get worse. I’m sure that we journalists will have plenty of anecdotes to tell at any time of the day,” he added.

Mourinho is currently under contract with AS Roma. The 60-year-old coach still has ties until 2024.

With Rome, Mourinho has won a European trophy by winning the Europa Conference League. The Europa League was won with Manchester United, and the Champions League was won with El Real. A complete portfolio of coaches on the European scene.
