Rott am Inn – On the last Saturday of the Easter holidays, a basketball camp with almost 60 children between the ages of 7 and 17 took place in Rott. For the first time also in cooperation with the Judo department of the ASV under the guidance of Rita Lunghamer and her team.

The fall protection school in particular met with great interest and positive feedback. In groups with a maximum of 20 children, an insight into a completely different type of sport could be given and tricks and tricks to avoid sports accidents in the hall could be learned. At the multi-day summer camp from August 1-3. a repetition of the cooperation is therefore planned.

In addition, for the first time, the regionality of the camp was also put in the foreground in terms of the Fairtrade Town certification of the municipality of Rott: Coaches and participants were well supplied with Rigatoni by the new sports home host Michele Murianni. As a small thank you, department head Martin Schreyer presented the nine coaches under the direction of Johanna Kreuzer with sweet bunnies from “Franzi’s chocolates and cakes” and, as always, Forthree 43 Baketball from Bruckmühl delivered the camp shirts. Thanks also go to the Sparkasse Wasserburg for providing the great prizes for the participants. And – last but not least – the 4 types of ice cream from Eisbayer from Rott were gone faster than many a helper could see.

For the 3×3 camp during the Pentecost holidays on Sunday 11.06. seats can already be booked at https://asv-rott.de/basketball-camp/.
