Draymond Green was sent off for tremendous stomping on Domantas Sabonis

The player of the Golden State Warriors, Draymond Greenstarred in an unpleasant episode during the second game of the playoff series against Sacramento Kingsfor he gave a terrible stomp to Domantas Sabonis which led to his expulsion.

It all happened in the fourth quarter after the Lithuanian grabbed Green’s leg after fighting for a rebound, which caused a bad reaction from Green, who stomped on Sabonis’s chest.

The game was stopped by the officials to review the play and they decided to sanction the Warriors player with a type two fragrant foul, which is sanctioned with expulsion. In addition, the Kings star was penalized with a personal foul.

Draymond Green spoke of what happened at the end of the meeting and argued that he had no other place to set foot.

“I’ve had my leg grabbed, it’s the second time in two nights and the refs are standing there watching. I had to land my foot somewhere. I’m not the most flexible guy and I couldn’t get it any longer. I can only step as far as I can step It is what it is,” he explained.

For his part, Domantas Sabonis avoided getting into controversy and commented that “these are things that happen”.

The NBA will investigate the action, which could mean a greater sanction for the Golden State player.
