Between April 17 and 23, a new edition of the Florianópolis Challenger will be held in that Brazilian city. This event belongs to the ATP Challenger circuit with category 75, and is played on the clay courts of the Lagoa Iate Clube. Share week with Oeiras 3, Morelos, Roseto and Tallahassee.

The Challenger circuit returns to the city of Florianópolis, after its premiere edition in the 2021 season, where the champion was the local Igor Marcondes, currently suspended for doping.
The top seed in the tournament in the South of Brazil is the Chilean Tomas Barrios Verarecent champion in San Luis Potosí, followed by his compatriot Alejandro Tabilo and by the nationalized Argentine Luciano Darderi. Other albiceleste players also appear in this group of main favourites, such as Andrea Collarini o Genaro Olivierinames that say they are present week after week in this class of Challenger tournaments.
Brazil will have a good number of representatives in its contest, with Thiago Seyboth Wild as one of the preclassified. Besides, João Fonseca, Peter Rodrigues y Gustavo Ribeiro de Almeidahave received Wild Cards.
