A total of over 240 athletes from the fields of weightlifting, gymnastics, gymnastics, inline skater hockey, judo, kickboxing, athletics, orienteering, cycling, rope skipping, rowing, sambo, target shooting, swimming and skiing have registered for the award. The event is framed by the school band of the Upper Black Forest district high school from Titisee-Neustadt, the cheerleaders from TV Heitersheim, the rock’n’roll dance club TV Bötzingen and the line dance group of Karin Draxler from the Upper Black Forest. In addition, numerous prizes will be raffled off among the athletes present.
Against the background of the 50th anniversary of the Breisgau-Hochschwarzwald district, this year’s athletes’ award will have the motto “50 years of the district”. In addition to the awards that are the focus, athletes who have become the sporting faces of the district in various sports over the past five decades will also be presented.
Particular successes in the choice of athletes of the
District are honored, are places one to five
Olympic Games or World Championships, place one to three
at European, German and Southern German championships, place
one and two at Baden-Württemberg championships and
first places in all Baden, southern Baden and
Black Forest Championships. They are also awarded
first to third places in “Youth trains for the Olympics” in
National finals and first place in the state finals.
