Concacaf announced through a statement the dates and times for the 2023 edition of the Gold Cup. The Mexican soccer team will debut on Sunday, June 25, against Honduras in Houston, Texas; On Thursday the 29th they will travel to Glendale, Arizona, to face Haiti and will finish the group stage against Qatar on July 2 in Santa Clara, California. The most recent edition of the tournament was won by the United States in the final against Mexico, where it was presumed that the Stars and Stripes team used an alternative team to face the contest.
