The Cuban ambassador in Azerbaijan, Carlos Enrique Valdés de la Concepción, met with the delegation of his country that is participating in the Rhythmic Gymnastics World Cup held at the National Gymnastics Arena.

According to AZERTAC, after the meeting, the Cuban ambassador shared his impressions of the World Cup competitions held in Azerbaijan, noting that the National Gymnastics Arena made a good impression on him: “All conditions for holding competitions have been created here. prestigious sports. I would say that Azerbaijan organizes competitions at the level of the Olympic Games. One of our gymnasts, Gretel Mendoza, participates here. She is a young athlete and is seriously preparing for these competitions. We know that the level of other gymnasts is very high. It is important for Cuba to participate in an international sporting event as prestigious as the Rhythmic Gymnastics World Cup. I am very interested in sports. I have practiced judo and swimming. I believe that everyone should play sports for their health.”
