Cristiano Ronaldo “gave away” half a Porsche for getting the contact of a singer

Cristiano Ronaldo has a collection of cars that is the envy of any billionaire, and also throughout his career he has starred in some eccentricities that made him news for the tabloids.

This weekend he was talked about again in England, where a former Manchester United masseur recalled an anecdote that he starred in in mid-2009 after separating from Irina Shayk and before meeting Georgina Rodríguez, his current partner.

The then Red Devils forward was impressed with Kimberly Wyatt, from the Pussycat Dolls group, and knew that Rod Thornley, the masseur in question, could get his contact number, according to the official himself told the Undr The Cosh podcast.

Thornley recalled that Cristiano asked him “who is that girl”, in reference to Wyatt, and asked if he could get her number. “I kept wondering what I could take with me from all that. Ronaldo offered to sell me his car at half price when he went to Real Madrid and it took me 10 minutes to get his number ”, he added.

CR7 complied and sold him his Porsche for $75,000, a price that made Thornley not even think about enjoying the vehicle. “I literally had it for one night. I went to his house, picked it up, made the transfer, sold it the next day for 150,000 and had a great vacation in the Maldives that year,” he concluded with a laugh.
