City of Fabric and Barni Trophy “More than sixty clubs in the city”

An event that brought young judokas to the city, representing over sixty clubs from all over Italy. And that turned into a real sports festival. In recent days, the first edition of the “City of Fabric Trophy” and the fourth of the “Bruno Barni Memorial” were held in the city, both organized as usual by the Prato Academy. The first competition, the one that opened the ball, saw the Prato association finish in twelfth position out of sixty-three participants. The cup went to the Harmony Club, which preceded the Centro Sportivo Guido Tie and Judo Frascati on the podium. The Barni, also held at the Estraforum in Maliseti, instead saw over 66 competitors compete on the tatami. At club level, the cup went to Judo Cecina, ahead of Peter Pan Asd, Judo Carrara, Shinsei Firenze and Cus Siena. “It was a very intense but wonderful experience – commented the Academy management – thanks to all the companies that participated and to all the people who made it possible for an event of this magnitude to take place”.
