Cathy Hummels blasphemes about footballers: “Spoiled and lazy!” Entertainment

And she added: “Of course you can’t generalize, but I think you shouldn’t take too much from them. By the time they’re 17 or 18, they’re already making millions. They just don’t have any connection to reality anymore, I think that’s a bit of a shame.” Then intelligence is required, “so that you know that there is something else besides football. And that not everyone earns one to two million euros”.

How does ex-husband Mats find this blasphemy? Cathy and he have a son Ludwig (5) together.

Cathy Hummels does not want to accept the argument that footballers do not have the necessary time to continue their education during their career. “You have so much time on the side,” she says, pointing out that many professionals sit in front of the game console for a long time, and knowledge is “also power” for footballers.
