BVB | Real Madrid put together spectacular swap package for Bellingham

Officially, the bidding for BVB star Jude Bellingham has not yet started, but behind the scenes several clubs are said to be preparing offers that will tempt the Englishman to make a move. One of these clubs is Real Madrid. According to the Spanish media, the royals are putting together a package that should not only convince the player, but also Dortmund.

Real Madrid have set clear limits when it comes to courting Jude Bellingham. At least that’s what various Spanish media have reported in recent weeks. Accordingly, the royals will not offer BVB more than 100 million euros for the Englishman. They are said to have agreed internally on a maximum salary of 20 million euros per year.

It is not known whether Bellingham would sign for the said 20 million in Madrid. However, it is certain that BVB will demand well over 100 million euros for the Englishman. According to “Cadena SER”, the royals have now put together a package that should convince the Bundesliga club in order not to break their own limits, but at the same time to satisfy Dortmund.

According to the report, the Champions League record winner wants to offset 23-year-old Brahim Díaz in the deal. He would therefore switch to the black and yellow as an additional bonus in addition to the fee.

The midfielder is a bit more attacking than Bellingham, but he still feels most comfortable in the centre. This season, the Spain international is proving that at AC Milan, for whom he is on loan until the summer. Diaz’s contract in Madrid runs until 2025.

Díaz not the first time in BVB’s sights

Interesting in this context: BVB is said to have been hot for Díaz a few years ago. At the beginning of 2019, the Spaniard had to choose between Dortmund and Madrid. Real initially secured the contract at the time. When it was clear that Díaz would get little playing time, the black and yellow planned a loan deal. But this didn’t come about in the end either.

Now Borussia could get their third chance to sign the 23-year-old.

The current season in Milan is the young midfielder’s third with the Rossoneri. Díaz already played for the traditional Italian club in 2020/21 and 2021/22, with which he reached the Champions League semifinals on Tuesday. In the current Serie A season, the Spaniard has made 26 appearances so far. He recorded five goals and four assists.
