Burnley return to the Premier League after a record-breaking season

El Burnley is back in the Premier League. After beating Middlesbrough this Good Friday (1-2), they are mathematically promoted to the top flight of English football. The triumph guaranteed Burnley a top-two finish, with still having seven days to play… a show of strength from the ‘Clarets’.

Kompanythe former Manchester City captain, has made a surprising impact since taking over as manager just weeks after Burnley’s relegation last year. They had spent six consecutive seasons among the best in England… and they return after only one year away from the elite.
