The reason is, Paulo Victor’s status has been answered directly by manager Yahya Alkatiri.
As previously reported, Persebaya Surabaya has confirmed that three slots for foreign players have been filled. They are Sho Yamamoto, Ze Valente, and Bruno Moreira.
However, it seems that Persebaya Surabaya will fill one more slot by entering Paulo VIctor to look into the league next season with Bajul Ijo.

“Regarding foreign players, apart from Sho and Ze, who else?” asked the recorder.

This then became the green light for Bonek regarding Paulo Victor’s latest status at Persebaya Surabaya.
Even though it hasn’t been officially confirmed, it seems that Paulo Victor has extended his contract at Persebaya Surabaya.
