A quarrel broke out between two motorists in a parking lot near Place Leclerc on Tuesday, around 4:45 p.m. in Besançon. The situation very quickly degenerated into a story of anarchic parking. A 17-year-old minor then heated up and punched a 58-year-old man several times in the face. Then he took a baseball bat to hit his victim’s left forearm.

The perpetrator was arrested without resisting. The police then exploited video surveillance cameras positioned around the place where the facts took place. The images confirmed the complaint and the version of the fifties. Faced with the evidence, the defendant had no choice but to acknowledge the assault.
Released, he will be summoned on May 22 for a collection of socio-educational information, then in court on July 7 at 10:20 a.m. to answer the charges against him.
