Basketball: DRC hosts central zone qualifiers for the Ghana 2023 Paralympic Games | Lemag

The Congolese Federation of Wheelchair Basketball held a press conference at the Belgian school in Kinshasa on Thursday 27 April. It was organized for the launch of the central zone qualifiers of the Para African games Ghana 2023, which will take place from April 28th to 30th.

Facing the press, the coach manager of central IWBF, the Gabonese Chrezos Moussa, representative of the president of the central zone, the president of the organizing committee Godhel Lulla, the vice-president of the Federation Ferraz Dacosta, DTN Mango as well as the Leopards ladies coach Guy Adolphine Kaseng gave information on the organization of these playoffs. They also gave an update on the teams involved in the playoffs.

In addition, this press conference took place in the presence of the general secretary of the IWBF (International Wheelchair Basketball Federation) Gerry Smith.

You should know that the competition opens this Friday, April 28 after the opening ceremony. Afterwards will follow the first match between the Democratic Republic of Congo and the Central African Republic for men.

It should be noted that the qualifiers for the Ghana 2023 Para-African Games in Kinshasa for people with reduced mobility is organized under the high patronage of the Head of State Félix Tshisekedi Tshilombo.
