Curious scene in the hot phase in the fourth quarter: The Heidelbergers get two free throws. But for what actually? MagentaSport commentator Stefan Koch comments on the scene: “Wasn’t that Coleman who intervened at Kesteloot? From my point of view, Coleman fouled his team-mate.” In fact: In the slow motion, there is no Rostocker with his hands nearby, so that one could have suspected a foul. The referees apparently saw it differently…
The Belgian Kesteloot at least throws in a free throw, equalizing to 70:70. The game is on the brink of two minutes and 17 seconds.
After the game, Rostock coach Christian Held goes to the referees and doesn’t look happy with the referee’s performance.
Best BBL thrower 29 minutes without a point!
Cool: Eric Washington, the BBL’s best pre-game shooter, is having a disastrous day. He has to wait 29 minutes and 30 seconds before he scores his first points. Overall, he only manages a disappointing five points.
