Basketball – Bayern basketball players lose in Madrid

The Bayern Munich basketball team lost out in the last away game of the season in the EuroLeague. The cup winner lost to Spanish record champions Real Madrid 67:79 (36:40) and conceded his 22nd defeat in 33 games.

While Los Blancos secured their play-off ticket, Bayern failed early in the race for a quarter-final ticket. The best thrower at the Bundesliga team was the German national player Andreas Obst with 21 points, while Mario Hezonja (20 points) was particularly convincing at Real.

For the Munich team, Easter Monday in the Bundesliga continues with the game at Baskets Würzburg (6 p.m. / MagentaSport). At the end of the main round in the EuroLeague, Bayern will welcome Zalgiris Kaunas from Lithuania on April 14th.
